The Story of Bono
Bono is a very strange man. He has weird hair and funny-looking sunglasses. He even pierced both of his ears. Sound like any normal rocker guy? Well you're wrong! He is considered one of the most well-known modern prophets ever, aside from his fame from the band U2. His message; promote human rights among unfortunate people as well as make people everywhere aware of hunger, violence, and disease throughout the world.
He was born to Irish Christian parents. He deeply followed Christianity with his band U2, and even thought about joining a Christian fellowship with his band to get closer to God. This Christian experience has helped him become a caring and helpful person, even if he is disliked by some people.
Bono has been to many places around the world. These places include El Salvador and Nicaragua, as well as many parts of Africa. He has also become an ambassador to many countries, informing them about disease, poverty, and violence that can be solved with care and effort.
Bono has over come many obstacles in his life. As a teenager, his mother died and he was heartbroken, as well as very angry. He became very rebellious as well, and would argue with almost everyone, including his father. After these tragic and tough events, he turned to music to help him. His music and his religion led him to charity work, including his own charity titled DATA (Debt AIDS Trade Africa)
